The author, Darin Eich, has a Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin. His dissertation research involved constructing a grounded theory of high quality leadership programs through interviewing over 60 students, teachers, and administrators from different leadership programs.
Darin has also been a graduate student, teacher, and developer of leadership programs at the University of Maryland and the College of William and Mary. Darin has been an ILA presenter, LeaderShape facilitator, and National Leadership Symposium Associate. Darin is also a professional speaker & facilitator and entrepreneur, collaborating to start CollegeMotivation, ThroughCollege, and BrainReactions, an innovation and idea generation company founded with a leadership program student that has gone one to be recognized by US News and BusinessWeek.
